Our
Worship Statement
We
take the United Methodist’s ministry and mission statement
"Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors" to heart, and we
hope that you will feel safe and included when visiting our church.
Worship
is central to the life of St. John's United Methodist Church, and
we extend an open invitation to you with the hope that you will find spiritual meaning and significance.
We
believe in the possibility of life. Our message is one of hope,
a positive statement that all life is sacred. Here you will find
an alternative way to live, one that refuses to accept the negative
messages so easily available in the world today.
We
hope that you will come and join us for an open, welcoming service,
where no one is turned away.

Regular Sunday services begin at 10:30 am and
last about an hour. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday
of each month. In the United Methodist tradition, this is an open
communion. All are invited to partake at the Lord's table.

Choir
Our choir rehearses from 9:00-10:00 am

performs a choral anthem 2-3 times each month. They also joyfully
sing cantatas at Christmas and Easter. All are welcome to participate.
