The
ministries of St.John's United Methodist Church are team oriented.
We value the unique gifts and service that each person brings
to the mission of the church. Major areas of ministry are listed
below and we encourage you to learn about the many opportunities
which are available.
Administration
Our Administrative Team supports the mission
through specific office systems designed as a platform to reach
out to the community. If you would like to be part of the administrative
team, please contact Becky Jackson at the church office at (707)
584-9780 or via e-mail at stjohnsrp@earthlink.net.

to those that have been limited to their own homes, due to illness
or other reasons. Opportunities to serve, include visiting, sending

Education
Adult Education - We hold weekly Adult Bible Study
on Tuesdays at 10:00 am. We also have an Adult Study Class on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am. If you would like more information, please contact
the church office at (707) 584-9780.
Fellowship
Each Sunday morning after worship, all are
invited to have coffee and refreshments and make new friends within
our community of faith.
Music
It has been said that by lifting voice
to God it is as if we are praying twice. All are welcome to come
to choir. This is a very accepting group of learners, striving to
use the gift of voice in praise and service. This is one of our
practical ways of reaching out to others.
The
choir generally performs an anthem three times per month. During the
Christmas and Easter seasons, a cantata, or ‘special singing’
is performed.
Choir
practice is held
each Sunday before church from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Additional practices are scheduled throughout
the year as needed. If you are interested, please contact Shirley
Spina through the church office at (707) 584-9780,
or simply show up!

Women
The United Methodist Women, or UMW for short,
have played an integral part of our church community over the past
twenty-eight years. In the United Methodist system, the UMW has often
been referred to as a beautiful thread that weaves its way through
the fabric of the faith community.
From their Plant and Book Sale to the annual Christmas Bazaar, these
women have found ways to help those in need with their time, talents,
and financial resources.
The
UMW meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm at the church.
To learn more about them, please check out their bulletin board in
the entry or contact Kathy Eastman, President, through the church office at (707) 584-9780.
