Our Mission
• St. John’s mission is learning
and teaching forvgiveness
• Cultivating a community of loving disciples
• Reaching out in practical service
• Inviting all others to join the mission
Our
History
St.
John’s United Methodist Church has grown into a loving and
caring community of followers of Christ over the last twenty-eight
years. Since 1979, we have grown from a small group of people who
met in each other’s homes, to a vibrant and thriving church
that has built a home for its congregants, a playground for its
children, a parsonage to house pastors, and is preparing plans to
build a ministry center.
Please
come and see a snapshot of our current “history”, represented
in the portrait illustrations of our kids by Edythe Briggs. These
line the walls of the Alene Felder Room, next to the main office.

Our
Vision
St.
John’s is a mission-driven church that honors our past, lives
in the present and looks toward the future, both spiritually and
practically. We are compassionate, we celebrate life, and we challenge
each other to do the right thing, not the expected thing.
